Personal trainer, FAI-certified specialist, and the guy who actually wants to hear about your goals (and your concerns).
I genuinely care about helping you feel stronger, more confident, and more capable in your everyday life. That's what gets me up in the morning. I'm here to meet you where you are, listen to what you actually need, and help you build lasting change at your own pace.
I've built my career around working with adults in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond—people who deserve personalized attention and programs designed for their stage of life. People who are ready to invest in themselves.
"My job isn't to turn you into someone you're not. It's to help you become a stronger, more capable version of who you already are."
I didn't take the typical path to personal training. I started out pre-med, thinking that was my future. Turns out, it wasn't. One day I saw a Facebook post for a job at a gym, applied on a whim, and everything changed.
I ended up training under someone who specialized in working with Parkinson's patients. That experience opened my eyes to a completely different way of thinking about fitness—not about how much you can lift, but about how well you can move through your life.
Here's something I don't always lead with: I've got my own history of injuries. I know what it's like to struggle to find movement that doesn't hurt, to feel frustrated with a body that won't cooperate, to wonder if feeling good is even possible anymore.
That struggle is exactly why I do what I do. I'm not here to push you through pain or tell you to tough it out. I'm here because I understand what it's like—and because I found a better way.
Here's the thing: a lot of people are intimidated by gyms. The crowds, the equipment they don't know how to use, the feeling like everyone's watching. I get it. That's exactly why I built my own private studio.
When you train with me, you're not sharing space with dozens of strangers. It's just you and me in a fully-equipped gym designed for real training—not for showing off. You get my full attention. No distractions. No judgment. Total privacy. It's fitness that fits your life, not the other way around.
I'm certified through the Functional Aging Institute (FAI), which specializes in training adults as they age. This isn't about chasing some unrealistic body image or hitting arbitrary numbers. It's about real, practical fitness.
Can you carry your groceries without struggling? Can you play with your grandkids without getting winded? Can you get up from the floor if you need to? Can you feel confident on your feet? These are the things that matter.
I focus on six essential domains of physical function: cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance, and body composition. We work on all of them, tailored to what YOU need most.
Every client is different, so every program is different. But here's what you can expect:
"I don't just count your reps. I pay attention to how you're moving, how you're feeling, and what's working. This is a partnership."
If you've been putting off getting stronger because gyms aren't your thing... if you've tried programs that weren't designed for your stage of life... if you want personalized guidance from someone who actually gives a damn... let's talk.
No pressure. No sales pitch. Just an honest conversation about what you're looking for and whether I can help.
Tell me what's on your mind. What are you hoping to accomplish? What's been holding you back? I read every email personally and I'd love to hear from you.
